A very good movie that shows what happens when Americans go off to fight a war and come back and see that their government left them damaged for nothing. Probably Tom Cruise's best film in terms of acting.
Willem Dafoe is listed like a leading co-star but he actually has a small role. They probably hyped him up because he was more known than Cruise following Platoon three years earlier.
