Review of Born on the Fourth of July (1989) by Simon W — 19 Aug 2008
Cruise is brilliant in this one - should silence any haters who question the reason for him remaining ontop for so long. Stone also on top form, as per usual.
This movie really wears you down - just gets more and more depressing as it goes on and on. The hospital act (A whole act) is truely painfull. A movie about redemption without any easy answers.
