Kun lähdetään vertaamaan tätä muihin 80-luvulla tehtyihin sotaelokuviin, tällä ei ole mitään tekemistä niiden kanssa eikä voi edes luokitella samaan kategoriaan. Elokuvassa on toki ainesta mikäli haluaa perehtyä Vietnamin sodan asioihin tarkemmin ja haluaa päästä siihen tunnelmaan mitä veteraanit joutuivat kestämään tuolloin, mutta sotaelokuva tämä ei mielestäni ole.
