Born on Fourth of July is another clever installment about the Vietnam War from Oliver Stone. However, this movie focuses more on America itself than Vietnam through the eyes of paralyzed veteran Ron Krovic.
Krovic gets a great portrayal by Tom Cruise who well deserved an Oscar nomination. While an interesting story no doubt, it still at times got a little boring and uninteresting. Still, despite its flaws, it is another classic from Oliver Stone and is a movie a lot should consider.
