Review of Born on the Fourth of July (1989) by Henry Kissenger On The Subway — 01 Aug 2008
This movie is absolutely incredible, powerful and is also extremely important. tom cruise turns in his best performance with one of oliver stone's best directing efforts. this movie is perfectly set up and every stage you see cruise go through is perfectly convincing and heart breaking.
its important how a naive and ambitious high school kid turns into confused soldier, then a guilty cripple, then indignified veteran. then re-builds his life. the movie is one of the best out there. I suggest viewing it if you're in the mood for some incredible acting and story telling.
