This is one of my all-time favorite true stories. I'm glad Tom Cruise won a Golden Globe award for his portrayal of Vietnam Vet Ron Kovic. This movie showed how a Vietnam veteran can change from one idealic soldier to paraplegic victim to public speaking hero.
