Review of Born into Brothels: Calcutta's Red Light Kids (2004) by Antonia W — 16 Dec 2007
This documentary is astounding and incredible. There is not a time that I have watched this and had a dry eye. This documentary explores the realities of children growing up in India where drug use and prostitution is rife, children are slaves and where children don't even have the little privelidge of an education.
The volunteers and documentary makers are selfless but in the end the result is not what they desired for these kids.
