Review of Born into Brothels: Calcutta's Red Light Kids (2004) by Sandy F — 04 Jun 2008
This movie affirms that the human spirit, if nurtured, can flower and grow even in the most desperate situations. Zana Briski brings her gift of photography to a desolate place and is drawn into it's poignant drama.
You will fall in love with these children and find yourself eagerly rooting for them to rise above their circumstances and escape what seem like inevitably dark destinies in the brothel.
