Review of Boogeyman (2012) by Ed Fucking H — 30 Sep 2011
Pretty fucking awful PG-13 horror. Not scary in the least, and relies far too heavily on jump scares. When the boogeyman is finally revealed the shitty CGI used to create him made me laugh pretty hard.
As the movie progresses it gets more and more nonsensical as well. And the ending where we find out the boogeymans weakness made me want to put my head through the screen. Acting is unexceptional. So is the story.
There is some good camera work here and there, but thats nowhere near enough to save this forgettable borefest. Don't bother with this one folks.
