Review of Boo! A Madea Halloween (2016) by Marcdoyle — 21 Oct 2016

I've seen every Madea movie, and on the Madea scale, it's about an 8. Generally, I'd give it a 7 because there are plenty of laughs, and I'm always a sucker for teenagers getting schooled by an old school voice.

Madea is the voice of reason - the antidote to the coddling of the generation coming up behind the Millennials. Tyler Perry is super talented. The question is this: Why the hell are Tyga and Lexy Pantera in this movie? Madea movies have always had some curious casting choices - I guess it's part of their charm.

All I know is that my theater was roaring throughout.
