Review of Bonnie and Clyde (1967) by Stephen H — 09 Feb 2010
It's an influential film, to be sure. It also straddles that difficult line of documenting unsavory characters and glorifying their behavior. What do you do when the protagonists rob banks and kill with little regret? Beatty, Dunaway, Hackman, etc.
all give stellar performances. And that ending is exactly what you expect, but it still packs a punch.
