Review of Bonnie and Clyde (1967) by Raphaël R — 30 Nov 2008

I was very disappointed in this. Having studied up a bit on Bonnie and Clyde, and their story really is unique, I can't quite understand how this film could make them so boring. It's also hard to think "They're just kids" when the people playing them look darn well into their 30s.

Don't get me wrong, I love Dunaway and Beatty but ugh- this was a boring piece of crap. I don't understand why this is considered a classic. Maybe it's the generation gap, but of this came out today, most wouldn't even give it a 2nd watching.
