This is the film that made me fall in love with film.. .I still don't think Iv'e seen any other film like this.. .the ingredients are perfect, exact measurements of everything. I have seen this in the cinema a few times and I can understand why there was a standing ovation when it was first shown.
. .And why this was the first modern film to receive four stars from infamous tough film critic Leslie Halliwell.. .which film has comedy, love, violence (lots and lots.. .Peckinpah lots) and drama all perfectly packaged by Arthur Penn and Warren Beatty.
. .this is a great film.
