A beautiful slow burn worth every moment! It's a western horror film and they mix both perfectly. The best horror films make you care about the people first before the get into the meat of things, and this movie does just that.

Then it shows you the REAL wild west and the real dangers of just taking a 3 day trek. The villians in this are terrifying and ruthless. You love when one is taken down. (when and if they can go down) And the gore is hyper real and disgusting but completely effective.

It's gross but works. You fear for the heroes and at the same time want them to get some justice. Great film and EVERYONE in it is fantastic. I'm very excited to see this director's next work.

I believe this is his first outting and he hit it out of the park!
