Review of Bone Tomahawk (2015) by Dolby W — 20 Sep 2016
One has to be into classic, slow-burning westerns to enjoy this. The horror stuff of the film is very mild up until the very end. It is very bloody at that point, but the viewer needs to be patient with the film in order to get to that point.
It is very long, but well acted and the gore makeup is fantastic. The few kills that there are, are brutal and definitely show the importance of practical effects. The kills are also disturbing, but, as I said, it takes a long time for the movie to get to that point.
