I watched this movie because the trailer looked decent and Kurt Russell is in it. I'm glad I did.
Movies are supposed to provide an escape from reality and, hopefully, transport us to another time, place and/or experience. This movie did so very well.
A western with elements of horror and "period piece", I was interested from the opening scene, which included a hilarious and well done bit performance by David Arquette.
The story itself isn't new - rescue from "evil" - but pretty captivating all the same. I don't know the lead actress, and she was probably not the best choice, but everyone else was wonderful.
Completely worth seeing.
