Solid horror/western type of mash up. The dialogue was fun throughout. Zahler has a good grasp on the poetry in the candace of western dialogue. Kurt Russel grew out his beard for this, and kept it for the Hateful 8.

I liked seeing that. I think this a better version of using Kurt Russel for a western. It was more enjoyable seeing him navigate the west in this movie than in Tarantino's. Sid Haig in the beginning of the film was also a nice touch.

Solid movie, solid concept.
