Review of Bon Cop Bad Cop (2006) by Nikolai E — 26 Feb 2008

I know what they were trying to accomplish here, as there's some labored attempt at a clasically structured buddy movie, and there are some memorable standout scenes, but a forgettable and un-funny villain and a lack of overall cohesion make it less than it could have been.

If making generic, well-trodden genre films is what it takes for a Canadian film to make money, so be it, but you might as well do it right.
