Review of Bolt (2008) by Alex B — 22 Oct 2010
"Theres danger in every corner". "I ate danger for breakfast". "You hungry?". "Starvin.".
Bolt is about a dog(Travolta) who, along with his owner Penny(Cyrus) star in a tv show about a superdog. However, Bolt has never left the set, and actually beleives that the show is real. After "filming" an episode, Bolt thinks that Penny has been kidnapped, when she really was just acting for an episode. Convinced that He has superpowers, the K-9 goes on a journey halfway across the country, along with a sarcastic cat(Essman) and his #1 fan hampster(Walton). Bolt not only cracks jokes that kids can laugh at, but adults can laugh too. It was very cute and enjoyable. Although it can be dark at times, it was both silly and serious.
