Review of Bolt (2008) by Vanessa G — 10 Jul 2012
The canine star of a fictional sci-fi/action show that believes his powers are real embarks on a cross country trek to save his co-star from a threat he believes is just as real.
The latest Disney Studios animated action film has some fun action sequences and likeable characters, with the lead Bolt being the real cute star, that excels allot of charm.
The voice artists do an ok job with John Travolta standing out from the bunch.
Still as charming enough this film is, 'Bolt' is still Disney running on half cylinders, and with the likes of Pixar producing films such as 'UP' and 'Wall-e' in recent times 'Bolt' does'nt have the weight or emotion to really out last its hour and a half running time.
The film comes and goes with a nice feeling but within a couple of weeks will be forgettable to most.
