Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Chrisanne C — 02 Jan 2019
Bohemian Rhapsody hits the high notes for me, thanks to the brilliant lead actor, Rami Malek, who embodied Freddie Mercury so well that I was just blown away. Kudos to the ensemble cast who carried off this story line very well, despite the gaps and made this one of the most enjoyable and emotional films this year, finger snapping and feet tapping included.
Good script, and a tale elegantly told so much so many of us were left grieving over our loss of this gifted lead singer. I doubt other musical biopics can top this, even if film studios try to milk this genre.
Not many films can catch me going back 6 times. This one did it. An Oscar for Rami Malek please, and an ensemble award for the cast.
