Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Evan F — 21 Nov 2018
So, the critics are right, in a way. It's not much more than a Biopic with a couple of episodes where the writers took some pretty big artistic license to help create drama where it may, or may not, have been necessary.
But what they miss is that there is still a great story here despite those lies. The characters and acting are outstanding and bring this thing to life. I found myself, a couple times, forgetting that it was an actor playing Freddie and saw Freddie.
There's good flow despite the length and I never felt bored. Malik will likely get an Oscar bid and you'll leave this moving feeling great and wanting more Queen.
