Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Peter T — 24 Nov 2018
Outsanding film. Rami Malik's capturing of Freddie Mercury is close to perfection. Saw the film twice. Great score w/ a stunningly brilliant final performance in the Live Aid sequence. Stunning.
The film is balanced and covers a tremendous historical sweep while paying attention to the individuality (and humanity) of not just Freddy Mercury but those whose lives intersected with his. Completely deserving of an Academy Award sweep.
Highly recommend.
