Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Frank K — 10 Nov 2018
Wanted to give it more like four and a half stars. Sure some ttimelines were of. Of course a few inaccuracies but so did Chariots of Fire and Hidden Figures had a number of inaccuracies. Some are more for Hollywood effect and some are necessary for entertainment and to be able to tell the basic story in two and a half hours.
If anyone read or heard interviews Freddie did they could just do a movie based on his relationship with Mary Austin let alone with his band mates and other people in his life. From what you hear about Freddie they could do a ten hour documentary alone on him and it probably still would not cover all the interesting aspects of his life about him let alone the members of the band.
Just Freddie himself was such a great entertainer, singer, and unique individual that we had never seen before and likely never will see again let alone the aspects of his personal life. Some of the critics who panned this movie start to wonder if they saw the same movie I and many other people saw.
