Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by Diane W — 07 Nov 2018

BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY is an incredible film. The actors who played Queen did a fantastic job recreating the look of the sound of each song. I was so impressed with Gwilym Lee as Brian May on guitar and Ben Hardy as Roger Taylor on drums.

There was no question that they were "actually playing" their instruments, including Rami Malek on piano as Freddie Mercury, and Joe Mazzello as bass player John Deacon. I don't know what's wrong with the critics who though the story rambled or that there wasn't much story.

It was Freddie's and Queen's story. It was Freddie being a drama queen while he figured out who he was and what he wanted, mistakes and all. It's a must-see film and I'm getting the soundtrack!
