Review of Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) by James B — 02 Nov 2018

Bohemian Rhapsody was the best movie-going experience I've ever had. As a huge Queen and Freddie Mercury fan whenever the live performance scenes would happen it felt as if I was at a Queen concert.

I went into the film feeling so excited and by the end credits, I had tears in my eyes. I thought the continuity would bother me but it didn't at all because the film just grabs you with its story and amazing acting.

I had no idea who any of the actors were in the film except Mike Myers, I knew of Rami Malek but hadn't seen any of his previous work. His portrayal of Freddie Mercury was amazing, he totally became him.

The film was worth the wait and I would totally recommend this movie to people who are not Queen or Freddie Mercury fans. It's an amazing story, the cinematography is absolutely stunning and overall I think it did Freddie Mercury proud.
