Review of Body Heat (1981) by Rob D — 08 Oct 2007
Can one produce a more quality noir in the '80s? The answer is 'no' because of "Body Heat". Lawrence Kasdan's directorial debut is stunning in its ability to adapt what sounds like a pretty banal script.
This movie 'made' Kathleen Turner and confirmed William Hurt. Under Kasdan's direction and with career-defining performances by both lead actors, the story devilishly twists and turns. End conclusion: delicious!
