Review of Body Heat (1981) by Maryte M — 29 May 2008
Not since "Last Tango in Paris" have I seen a movie that seems to revolve around sex and doomed characters. I like noir movies, but this seemed like it took "Double Indemnity" and "The Postman Always Rings Twice" and simply added naked, sweaty bodies.
Which is fine. The movie redeems itself with Ted Danson's awesomely bad hair (think Javier Bardems haircut in "No Country") and the plot twist at the very end.
