Review of Body Heat (1981) by Steve S — 08 Dec 2009
***1/2 (out of four).
Nice atmospheric thriller that is a more modern take on "The Postman Always Rings Twice". Kathleen Turner is at her sultry best as a woman who has an affair with a lawyer (William Hurt). She convinces him to help her kill her husband (Richard Crenna).
Director Lawrence Kasdan creates a hot sweaty thriller set against the humid Florida Summer with very good results.
