Review of Bodies Bodies Bodies (2022) by Samcharlot123 — 16 Mar 2023
I thought I would've hated this movie, but I didn't. The name alone is off-putting. Plus I'm not a Pete Davidson fan. When I finished the film, I came to realize this film is actually pretty intelligently written.
It's pretty much a mockery of late millennial and gen z culture. Their obsession with social media and their online presence. How most of them are fatalistic and completely devoid of empathy for others.
The characters go into self-preservation mode when they realize a killer is around knocking them off one-by-one. How the story unfolds is pretty ingenious and I love the ending. A solid film and worth watching once if you like dark humor, mixed with a slasher horror flick, and a lot of cynicism.
