Review of Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius (2004) by Bradford Y — 23 May 2012
SUPERB 2:08 biopic --- solid script, outstanding cast, great directing, stunning photography, tightly wrapped editing, lovely score. Jim Caviezel is a believable good, bad and ugly Jones. Malcolm McDowell is in finest form as Jones' chronicler.
Claire Forlani makes you want to take her home to mom. Aidan Quinn is convincing as golf immortal Harry Vardon. Jeremy Northam's spot-on loose canon Walter Hagen is Oscar-worthy. Simply Irresistible on all fronts --- NOT to be missed.
