The movie is about Bobby Jones, a golfer who won 13 majors and retired at age 28 after he became the first (and still the only) person who won the Grand Slam (all four majors in one year).

The movies shows how Bobby deals with so many expectations in his life.

The closing sentences from Keeler, a sportswriter, wraps it up : "You've won for your dad and me. You got two college degrees for your mom. You got a law degree for grandfather. And you retired for your wife. Now, what are you going to do for yourself?".

Bobby's answer is Augusta, his masterpiece, one of the most famous golf course in the world, host of the annual Masters Tournament.

Bobby was also known for his integrity. Once, he lost by only one stroke just because he called a two-strokes penalty for himself because he insisted he moved the ball while no one else did. And when he was praised for his honesty, he simply said,"You may as well praise a man for not robbing a bank.".

The movie is about greater values beside winning championship.

It is about passion to what you are doing, even you do not call yourself professional.

Verdict : No need to know golf to watch this heartwarming movie.
