Review of Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice (1969) by Codie E — 20 Oct 2009
Entertaining, if uneven, comedy from director Paul Mazursky is an interesting look at the loosening sexual mores of the 1960s. Great characters and strong performances (though Dyan Cannon gets pretty annoying) and a number of very funny and compelling moments, but it does drag in places as it struggles to keep up the energy through many lengthy dialogue-driven scenes.
Maybe only a minor classic, but worth checking out.
