Review of Boarding School (2018) by Melancalcoholic — 31 Aug 2018
I liked this movie. Its redeeming feature is the excellent performance by its lead, Luke Prael, and the script has very few, if any plot holes. So, this is about 12 year old boy who gets send away to boarding school because his mother can't stand him screaming every night because he has nightmares. (Indeed, mother of the year she ain't). It's a tiny boarding school of just 7 pupils, including Christine, the daughter of his stepfathers boss. They immediately notice that there's something amiss at this school.....
What I liked about this movie is the intelligent script. The victims lack their usual, highly annoying stupidity, of trusting the perp too much, to the point of stupidity.
7,5 of ten.
The Melancholic Alcoholic.
