A jet black thriller, Blue Velvet is a surreal and twisted work of art. Dennis Hopper gives us a performance for the ages...will haunt you for ages that is. This movie has a mysterious, dark style not quite like any movie I have seen.
It is beautiful and off putting at the same time and has this underlying perverse eroticism. Blue Velvet is a weird, brow raising, well done thriller.
