Review of Blue Velvet (1986) by Sherief Z — 19 Jul 2010
A strange look into rural America showing that it can be very bizarre and strange sometimes.
Dennis Hopper was amazing as Frank Booth, the crazy huffer, and Isabella Rossellini was excellent as a woman who's husband and son have been kidnapped so they can force her to be apart of bizarre sexual acts.
Kyle MacLachlan and Laura Dern were great as the young Americans who look into the strange goings on.
David Lynch has an amazing eye and voice for the bizarre yet ordinary.
Picturesque movie that goes by quickly and never gets dull.
