Review of Blue Velvet (1986) by Luke P — 28 May 2012
Very interesting and unconventional, blue velvet isn't something to watch at home (as you might fall asleep) but something to definitely see if it runs at a theatre near you. saw it at the beverly cinema yesterday (which was completely sold out). Very unique with a haunting atmosphere, blue velvet is somewhat of a mindfuck, but in contrast DOES have very organic/simple parts.. which ends up confusing and relieving the viewer.
Recommend (for the theatre)!
