Review of Blue Velvet (1986) by Stephen S — 20 Feb 2013
Very good but so weird, as is the David Lynch tradition. Starts off pretty normally, and ends normally (at least for Lynchian standards) but gets so freaking weird once the film starts to play out. I like how Lynch puts a lot of effort into the details of the town and characters, making them seem more alive.
