A creative, atmospheric neo-noir. But damn it, David, cut the melodramatic crap! The love, the crying, ugh! I truly felt immersed in this film during those weird-ass scenes. More of that would have helped.
I might be based because the first film of yours I saw (before this one) was Eraserhead...Still, this stands out in your repertoire.
