Review of Blue Velvet (1986) by Amber B — 03 Feb 2010
David lynch is one of my favorite directors and in my opinion one of the best. In the sleepy town of Lumberton a dark secret comes to the surface when a young curious college student named Jeffrey Beaumont comes to town. To be honest the movie is pretty boring until Dennis hopper shows up as Frank.
Frank takes crazy to a whole new extreme with one of the most power and intense scene I have ever seen.
This movie is weird and way ahead of its time by far, every shot is vibrant and interesting to look at, I could watch this movie 100 times over!
