Review of Blue Velvet (1986) by Themumblelover . — 22 Sep 2014
An Avant-garde type movie with all the attributes of a Lynch film.
Dark, funny and at times strangely surreal.
Hopper is brilliant as the crazed psychopath while Kyle, Rossellini and Laura Dern add that opposing innocence to Hopper's madness.
A film that draws you in to the mystery of finding an ear and the journey of the darkness of the close neighbors.
