Review of Blue Valentine (2010) by Shae S — 23 Feb 2012

There were Brilliant Camera work that made me pause many times to enjoy :D.

Another thing you must admire in most Indie movies is the tasteful Soundtracks & this one did deliver, Gosling song on the ukulele was really Nice, The "You and Me" song was great choice as well.

Now to the movie, Solid performances by both Gosling & Williams -As expected- but still I had a hard time to stay objective when obviously we all want to hate (Cindy). as many reviewers said 'n I agree The story of falling in love was GRAND and you do see why they love each other, But Falling out of love was not as convincing or there was not enough build up, you don't get to see what happened in between now & then, Cindy had so much anger (maybe even PLAIN hate) 'n its not justified (maybe the writer meant for the audience to read between the lines but I'm not so good at that, I like it more In-Your-Face style).

Overall I do believe this is how things look in real life, Hence the 4 stars (that was meant to be 3.5 but I raised it to 4 just for that fact :) ).
