I thought about leaving the country myself after Bush was reelected... but I'm glad I could live out that fantasy through this movie instead. I really enjoyed the political parts and I thought Anna Paquin's character was fascinating.
Although it could have been done better and some parts could have been left out, it's message was loud and clear.
