Review of Blue Spring (2001) by Stephanie R — 29 Jun 2008
I can't find the words to describe how much I LOVED this film (as wll as EVERYTHING else of toyoda that I have seen).
Apparently, this is a look into today's youth in japan. Whether or not it is represented properly, it is still a very powerful film. The performances are top notch, the cinematography is brilliant, very good direction, and one of the best uses of music in modern film.
I have yet to know someone who has seen this and hasn't enjoyed it.
A must see.
