Review of Blue Spring (2001) by Juja C — 30 Jul 2008
Without that abuse of special effects that so much I hate, and without the necessity of being a bloodbath (It's violent but the violence is always off-screen), this movie is an example of "less is more". It has the aptitude of moving me with its simplicity.
Blue Spring shows teenage hopelessness and the fear to the future in a school where teachers doesn't care about what their boys do, and how all this situation can destroy one of the last important things that these boys have: Friendship.
Great cast, beautiful symbolism and amazing soundtrack. The last scene.... wow.
