Review of Blue Like Jazz (2012) by Sylvester E — 18 Apr 2012
This is a very deep movie! Pretty good! A kid who is running from his Baptist upbringing because of hypocrites in his life, then follows the path of the prodigal and runs with other hypocrites. He later finds that he was the problem and not the belief system.
He then drops the religious bit and reconnects his relationship with Christ! Pretty good but highly offensive in a lot of scenes that bring it home to the real deal.
