Review of Blue Lagoon: The Awakening (2012) by Steve W — 06 Jan 2013

I actually really enjoyed Blue Lagoon: The Awakening. I've never seen the original Blue Lagoon or any of the other remakes so I didn't really have any expectations for this film. There were a lot of cheesy lines for sure but it was a Lifetime movie what did you expect? It's a classic love story that is completely predictable but I enjoyed every minute of it! Fell in love with Emma from the start and loved watching the relationship between her and Dean progress while on the island.

Don't go into this movie expecting it to be the original Blue Lagoon because it won't be, but if you want a feel good love story this is the movie for you!
