Review of Blue Lagoon: The Awakening (2012) by Victoria M — 08 Jan 2013
The movie is ok. It doesn't go deep into the subject matters of its predecessors. In the earlier films, any lack of knowledge was due to age and isolation and the characters were stranded for multiple years. This duo were stranded, due to the male lead's selfishness, for only 3 months or so. They each know bits of survival knowledge and together are capable of surviving most of the challenges of the island. Though the island isn't very large and offering only fish and fruit to eat, there somehow exists a black panther on the island.
Not as good as the other films, but it still had elements I liked.
