The ONLY thing that salvages this movie is Cate Blanchett's performance. Otherwise, it's a piece of shit. I thought it was a poor imitation of "Streetcar Named Desire" and I can see why Cate's getting a lot of buzz.
She's a VERY good actress, but I the movie is a dud for me.
