It's a good retelling of a streetcar named desire, woody allen knew how to use its references and cate blanchett truly worked very well, but we cannot even compare her performance with the vivien leigh's, as we have to remember how many times she played this role on theaters.
without diminishing her performance because it was good, but maybe you are too overvaluing a pre-fabricated role.
